Preschool and Pre-kindergarten 

Now Enrolling for the 2008-2009 School Year

Willamette Valley Christian preschool and pre-kindergarten programs offer age appropriate classes taught by certified professionals.  The programs blend traditional preschool concepts with fine and gross motor activities in both individual and group settings.  Students will have opportunity to engage in activities that are designed to stimulate curiosity and intellect, challenge and develop individual skills, activate developing minds, and build Christian character.

Children will enjoy stories, poetry, music, dramatic play, arts, crafts, Bible stories, field trips, and more.  They will have opportunity to engage in activities involving visual motor skills, number concepts, handwriting readiness, and basic phonics.  Students will also have opportunity to practice appropriate social interactions through play, as well as through group activities.

Preschool – Children must be 3 years old by September 1.  Classes are Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m for the morning session and noon to 3:00 p.m for the afternoon session.  (Afternoon classes are contingent upon enrollment.)

Pre-kindergarten – Children must be 4 years old by September 1.  Classes are Monday, Wednesday, Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. for the morning session and noon to 3:00 p.m. for the afternoon session.  (Afternoon classes are contingent upon enrollment.)

All preschool and pre-kindergarten students must be fully potty-trained and able to use the restroom independently.
